BEER GARDEN
Local breweries will be featured in the Cheerwine Festival Beer Gardens, located near the 200 block of North Main Street and between the Bell Tower Green and the Salisbury Post
Must be 21 years of age. Valid ID is required. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased in the Beer Garden, but can be consumed throughout the Festival area.
As the Downtown Salisbury Social District is not in effect during the Festival (special event), beer should not be removed from the Festival footprint.
Beer Gardens
CASH, CREDIT|DEBIT CARDS
Festival vendors may accept various forms of payment for purchases. Please be advised that some vendors may not accept debit/credit cards. See the ATM information listed previously.
Cheerwine Beverages
Cheerwine 20oz bottled drinks will be offered for $2. Proceeds from soft drink sales at the official Cheerwine merchandise tents will benefit a local non-profit organization.
Cheerwine Fan Club Tent
Register to become a member of the Cheerwine Fan Club at the designated tent. Members receive exclusive Cheerwine news first, regular offers on Cheerwine, merchandise and more.
Cheerwine Merchandise
Available for purchase throughout the Festival, including two official Cheerwine merchandise tents and in downtown Salisbury merchant shops. Look for new items from Cheerwine this year!
Cheerwine History Exhibit
A Cheerwine History Exhibit will take center stage at the Rowan Public Library on Festival Day, May 18, only from noon to 5 p.m. View and hear the story of Cheerwine’s founding right here in Salisbury 107 years ago.
Entertainment
EMERGENCIES
An emergency station will be located at CompleatKiDZ, 131 W. Innes St. The station will be manned by public safety and health services staff.
Entrance is free
Festival-goers can shop at a large variety of food, craft and service vendors, buy a drink at the beer garden, and enjoy free music, kid’s activities and entertainment.

Handicapped parking for the Festival is located at the the Livingstone College School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, 530 Jake Alexander Blvd. Salisbury, NC 28144. Please place your handicapped placard in a visible location.

Heat
Temperatures during the Cheerwine Festival could reach near 90 degrees. Please be sure to properly hydrate throughout the day. For more information visit: https://www.ready.gov/heat
HISTORIC TROLLEY TOURS
Historic Salisbury Trolley Tour will run from noon - 6 p.m. Tours will showcase a number of historic locations around downtown Salisbury as well as significant Cheerwine locations and murals.

Lost and Found
Please bring any items found during the Festival to one of the two official Information Booths located along Main Street. Visitors can check for lost items at these locations.
Lost Person(s)
If you or someone from your group gets lost or separated, visit the emergency station next to CompleatKiDZ at 131 W. Innes St. Staff will then be able to assist you in reuniting your group.
PARKING
Downtown Salisbury will have some parking available. We recommend using the free shuttle service. Shuttles will run from 11:40 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the Festival Day.

Pets
Pets are prohibited for their own safety. The large crowds and hot asphalt can be harmful to pets. Please leave your pets at home.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Studio35 will be taking photos throughout the day. Please be advised that these images may appear in marketing materials, and attendance at this public event is your consent to have your photograph taken.
Public Restrooms
Public restrooms (Port-A-Potties), along with central hand-washing stations, will be available along Main Street and Innes Street. Please refer to the Festival map for specific locations.
Rain Date
The Cheerwine Festival is rain or shine. After discussions with the National Weather Service, Rowan County Weather and Rowan County Emergency Management, we are moving forward with the Cheerwine Festival on Saturday as planned. Please note, activities throughout the day may change due to the weather forecast. Please stay tuned to the Cheerwine Festival Facebook Event page and sign up for RoCo Alerts (Text the word CWFEST to 888777) for the latest updates.

Security
Law enforcement and public safety officials will be located downtown and in the parking areas. Speak to the nearest officer or reach out to Festival staff if assistance is needed. For emergencies, call 911.
Shuttle Stops
Shuttle stop locations are included on the festival map. Signage will be used to guide drivers to the offsite shuttle parking. The free shuttles run from 11:40 a.m. to 10 p.m., arriving approximately every fifteen minutes.
