Bombshell Beer Company
What is a "Bombshell"? One definition is an unexpected surprise! Craft beer is not just for guys! Ellen has been home brewing for more than a decade. In 2011, Michelle joined Ellen in brewing and the plan for Bombshell began. Jackie joined in the fun and opportunity in 2012.
History tells us that brewing beer was traditionally a woman's job. In fact, the creation of beer is credited to women! The goddess, Ninkasi is recognized for creating the oldest beer recipe in existence, dating back some 3900 years. Until Medieval times, it was the woman's job to brew beer for the household and laws of that time stated that the tools of brewing were solely the woman's property.
Bull City Ciderworks
The BULL doesn't play by the rules. Hard cider doesn't have to be sickeningly sweet and taste artificial. Our ciders are made with 100% apple juice and never back-sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, so you taste the apple in all its glory! Gluten-free yeast and ingredients ensure a naturally gluten-free cider. The BULL is bucking the trend of mainstream ciders. Taste the revolution!
Cabarrus Brewing Company
The Cabarrus Brewing Company (CBC) was born as the result of combining three very different desires on the part of its founders. The first was a sincere desire to develop a business concept that its founders, as all long term residents of Cabarrus County with varying professional backgrounds, saw as an investment in and with their neighbors and community in their own back yard. Second was a sincere desire to develop a concept that showcased the area’s rich history and unique character. Finally and certainly not the least important, is a true passion on the part of the entire CBC family for Craft Beer and the sense of community it represents.
Fainting Goat Brewing Company
Owners MaryAnn Durborrow and Tim Reichert became family friends when their youngest children (now adults) started playing youth hockey together in Raleigh. Although MaryAnn has owned/operated several businesses, she never embraced the craft beer industry. With a little encouragement, MaryAnn tried the Hefeweizen and Pomegranate Honey Witbier and she was a believer. MaryAnn and Tim began working diligently to make the dream a reality. With help from many friends, co-workers, and family members; the Fainting Goat Brewing Company opened its doors on October 8th, 2015 and continues to brew high-quality, handcrafted beer in small batches.
Gizmo Brew Works
Gizmo Brew Works launched into the public sphere in April of 2013. Gizmo represents the thinkers, tinkerers, and inventors who make up RTP and the Umstead Industrial Park which we call home.
At its inception, Gizmo Brew Works inherited a 2 barrel brewhouse, making it one of the smallest production breweries in North Carolina. Strong and feisty for its size, Gizmo surged forth into the competitive beer market. As Gizmo’s reputation grows, so does its size. In 2015 new infrastructure boosted its growth with larger tanks and a new 7 bbl brewhouse. Now in 2019 we set forth on an expansion to quadruple our brewing capacity as well as opening our first satellite taproom in Chapel Hill. In addition to small-batch taproom only releases, thirsty souls can find our beer in some of the finest retail shops and restaurants/bars throughout North Carolina.

New Sarum Brewing Company
Born in the heart of Salisbury, New Sarum Brewing derives its name from the original settlement name of Salisbury’s Sister City “Old Sarum” England. Our logo was created by combining the Old Sarum crest with the City of Salisbury crest, fashioning them together to create our own artistic reflection. Our company is based on a basic principle, creating great craft beer.
Olde Mecklenburg Brewery
At OMB, our unwavering commitment to fresh, pure, premium quality beer isn’t just a marketing slogan. It’s our way of life. Beer is like bread – similar ingredients, same need to be served as fresh as possible. As OMB’s founder says, “Not everything can be made local, but beer can and should be. Local beer is fresh beer, and fresh beer is better beer.”
Primal Brewery
Primal Brewery can trace its’ roots to the sidelines of a Huntersville soccer field that Co-founders, Ray Steimel and David Hoy first met on… We were home brewers, who not only enjoyed the process of brewing but also the overall experience. Our home brewing sessions were always a gathering of friends, family, and neighbors. For us it’s always been about the experience of bringing people together and having a good time with great beer and good food. At our core this is the underlying belief that influences every decision we make at Primal Brewery.
Founded in December 2013, Primal Brewery opened to the public a year later on December 26th, 2014. Our goal was to make great beer regardless of the style. Beers that we would enjoy drinking, beers that craft beer aficionado’s would enjoy drinking, and beers that first-time craft beer drinkers would enjoy.
