The Cheerwine Festival is donating proceeds from our 2020 T-shirts to the Rowan County United Way COVID-19 Relief Fund, and we're encouraging our loyal festival-goers to donate what they can to this effort as well.

T-Shirt Design Contest Winner!

This year's t-shirt design contest winner is Jonathan Woods! While the street festival is closed, as part of the virtual Cheerwine Festival, this 2020 Festival t-shirt design will be available for pre-order sales. All profits from the sale of the shirts will go to the organization’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.

“I really wanted to capture the joy and whimsy the Cheerwine brand embodies,” Woods says of the inspiration for his design. “I took inspiration from retro cartoons to add a feeling of nostalgia and familiarity to the design.”

Boy Scout Food Drive

Local Sapona Boy Scouts are helping Salisbury and Rowan County families with a food drive.

They are collecting non- perishable food items (canned goods, breakfast items, pastas, rice, beans, bottle water). Monetary donations will be accepted, checks should be made out to Rowan Helping Ministries.
